The Shield is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization and operates entirely
on grants, donations and volunteers.
Since our services are limited to veterans and first responders in Central Oregon, we obtain funding primarily from local businesses, foundations and other non-profit organizations.
Every dollar donated to The Shield goes directly to providing services to local veterans and first responders. All program management, administrative, and fundraising activities are performed 100% by volunteers without cost.
Donations can be made by check or credit card through our PayPal Charitable Giving Fund partnership.
